Drop Locations

In talking with my broker after the call today about volunteering the Keller Williams Choctaw office as a possible site, she brought up a great question:
Does the spot need to be indoors or out?
Since we are not specifying what type of materials will be taken/excluding it might not be a good idea to ask our locations to house the waste inside. This would also allow for a drop-off any time, rather than normal business hours.
That said, leaving the items outside would potentially leave us open to having all kinds of things dropped.
Any thoughts?

  1. I think we should come up with a list of accepted materials.
    Cell Phones
    Batteries
    Computer Equipment
    etc...

I don't think we should leave it open ended.

  2. So that would make me think spaces should be designated indoors?

  3. I think it will be extremely hard to control if it is open ended. Out of respect for the other tenants in my office building I definitely feel it needs to be indoors. I am creating a list of accepted materials and should have it ready for our meeting.
