Recap of Conference Call
Thanks everyone for attempting the call today. I personally have had computer issues all week so I apologize for the short notice on how to get on the call. We should have all the bugs worked out for the next one (crossing fingers).
The main things we decided during the call were:
*The URL for the resource page www.gogreenokc.com
*Our next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, March 4th at 9:30 at OKCMAR. This is pending availability of the board room at OKCMAR. I will confirm ASAP so we can all get it on our calenders.
*Leslie Denton is moving to Arkansas and will no longer be a member of the committee. We will miss you Leslie!
*Katrina has a few logo ideas she is going to post to the blog.
*Simon is going to be helping coordinate the drop off points for the Earth Day recycle drive
*Gayle is going to be helping Michelle and Elizabeth with details on the cocktail party
That's about it, in a nutshell. Sorry we missed everyone else. I'm looking forward to speaking to each of you in the near future!

Hey guys. Sorry I missed the call yesterday. I do have a couple of things to say.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I am not sure what will be planned for Earth Day 2010 locally, but last year the Go Green Oklahoma campaign recycled cell phones at the capitol and there was a hazardous waste collection at the fairgrounds - http://okc.about.com/od/attractionsandevents/a/okcearthday.htm
I still have some apprehension with Go Green OKC given the similarities but it sounds like I was voted against on that. ;) I just don't want the city to think we are stealing their thunder.
Also, we are officially on the calendar at Boldt and I am supposed to have a call with my friend Matt, the Urban Agrarian, tomorrow regarding local food/catering possibilities that he is hip to. We have to have the event catered and the caterer has to have a liquor license so that we can serve beer and wine. The guys at COOP (locally brewer o' beer) said they would help us determine how much beer to order.
Sorry I missed the call as well, but everything sounds great.. Thanks Michelle for getting so much done with the cocktail party, just let me know what you need me to do to help. I am going to be out of town friday until thursday, my plane gets in around 1230 so I wont be able to be at the meeting at okcmar on thursday.
